Setting foot on site at Farmers Tauranga Development you quickly realise the immense scale and scope of the project we have undertaken.
This is something Tauranga City Council elected members and staff (including chief executive Marty Grenfell) can attest to after joining us on a tour of the site earlier this month.
Inviting these city leaders to walk the site allowed us to highlight that, while it’s our project, it’s Tauranga’s building – developed for Tauranga and its unique vibe and environment.
By building on Farmers Tauranga’s proud history we will develop a bigger, better building featuring 8000 square metres of retail on two podium levels, 24 townhouses and 96 high-end apartments in two towers, and 322 car parks.
This will uniquely marry shopping, eating and living spaces to create a cosmopolitan, vibrant inner-city experience.
As we all agree, building a future-focussed development that looks towards a revitalised city centre where people live, work and play is a valuable asset to the city and for future generations.
