A busy construction site means great progress

Since starting demolition, our team on the ground has made great progress demolishing and removing the existing Farmers building, and beginning work on the site’s structural foundations.

It’s full steam ahead on the Farmers site with the sun shining and heavy machinery rolling.

Since starting demolition, our team on the ground has made great progress demolishing and removing the existing Farmers building, and beginning work on the site’s structural foundations.

CLL, sub-contractors to Hawkins, has commenced a one-year contract to complete approximately 60km of piles to support the foundations of the Farmers Development.

It sure makes for a busy construction zone with two piling rigs from Europe (Liebherr – Germany and ABI – Italy) working full time to build the development as fast as possible, and approximately 50 people currently working on site.

This shows just how significant this project is by national standards.

Overall, we remain on schedule, and with summer under way we are ready to progress even faster.
