Final plans for our iconic building are in

The Farmers’ corner redevelopment is strengthening the city’s CBD revitalisation following final designs approved by Tauranga City Council.

The Farmers’ corner redevelopment is strengthening the city’s CBD revitalisation following final designs approved by Tauranga City Council.

Key features of our $130 million flagship project include it being 12-storeys in height, 8000 square metres of retail on two levels, 23 townhouses and 96 high-end apartments in two towers, and 322 car parks.

It is fantastic to have the final designs approved in what is a vote of confidence for our significant investment in the city’s transformation.

The Farmers’ corner has a long history of retail, stretching back to its roots as a mall in the early 1970s. We respect that and are glad Tauranga City Council aligns with our vision to build on that tradition.

Rest assured, we continue to work closely with landscape and urban design experts, iwi, and key city stakeholders in Tauranga City Council and Priority One to ensure the building plays an important place-finding role in the CBD and broader surrounding area.

This connection to the city centre means we are committed to delivering what we believe will be an enhanced area of the city of which everyone can be proud.

We have faith this will make a real difference to downtown Tauranga.
